What are tasks?
Tasks are outcome-oriented instructions that shape what a twin delivers as a result.
They can include, for example:
Creating structured outputs (e.g. Strategy Structuring, Decision Brief)
Comparing options (e.g. comparison matrix)
Evaluating content (e.g. ad review from a user perspective)
Validating information (e.g. coherence checks)
Tasks are defined individually for each organization or team and reflect your specific workflows and deliverables.
How tasks work
When applied in an interview:
Tasks influence what the twin produces and focuses on
They are added as part of the system context
They act as strong instructions for the expected output
Tasks help direct attention — not only toward what should be included, but also what can be ignored.
If multiple tasks are selected, they are considered together and shape the final response accordingly.
Tasks are generally followed strongly, but can be reprioritized by your latest input during the conversation.
Example: A twin is asked to evaluate a new campaign the tasks “Compare variants” + “Evaluate from a user perspective” → the response may include a structured comparison and a clear recommendation based on user impact.
When to use tasks
Use tasks when you want to:
